Finally, the photos

We've finally got round to scanning and uploading the photos. The four new galleries on the right-hand side of the page contain the photos taken by Mike on the day. A hefty download, but hopefully worth the wait.

We'd like to thank you all for a wonderful day. We both had a fantastic time and hope you enjoyed it. We look forward to catching up with you all when we get back from Italy.

When our pictures are back from Mike, we'll add them. You can use the site to order prints if you want.

Wedding Gift Latest

Contributions towards our sculpture are coming in thick and fast - thank you all very much for your generosity. If you still wish to make a contribution, don't panic - we will keep the ledger open for a couple of weeks after the wedding. The sculpture will be on display during the evening reception on saturday.

Stag Weekend

The stag weekend passed without any major traumas and we all had a fantastic time. Photos can be perused here - if you have any more, please let me have them and I'll upload them for all to see.

I'd like to thank everyone for coming, it really was fantastic to see you all. Special thanks to Neil for his tireless work before and during the weekend.

Feasting

Those of you fortunate enough to be accompanying me on the stag do will be pleased to know that the menu for the meal at St. John has been chosen and they're probably slaughtering things as we speak. Ducks neck and watercress, roast suckling pig and chocolate tart were the winners. They do a very nice own label house red, so I think we're in for a fine time...

Getting my hand in

Just got back from Mike's stag weekend in Prague. Lovely bunch of lads, beautiful city and cheap beer. A great time was had by all - even a two-hour delay at Prague airport on the way back, my bag being left on the tarmac at Stanstead and a high-speed early-hours cab ride down the M11 couldn't spoil it...;)

Gallery Different Cocktail Party

The lovely people at Gallery Different who are administering the wedding list for us are having a cocktail party/exhibition showcasing David Begbie's work on the evening of 24th June. They have very kindly let us invite a few people along, so if you would like a chance to see the wedding gift and some other stunning examples of the artist's work, please let us know and we'll forward on the details.

Pretty Woman

After a second heroic round of quickfire frock shopping, and having exhausted most of the options Londons Glittering West End has to offer, we have a bridesmaids dress!

Big huge thanks to Kerry, who wrestled her way into and out of a giddying array of frocks in record time (just 2 trips, 3 hours, and a sustaining glass of wine or two), taking time out from her own wedding dress shopping for the occasion.

Sophisticated, understated, and just a little bit sexy - perfect!

Wedding rings sorted

Last night, we ordered the wedding rings from Dinny Hall. They match Mali's engagement ring - brushed platinum. Classy yet subtle - our kind of bling!
